You have found the page about the Joseph Thayne family. We are a crazy bunch who love to play games, cook outdoors, and watch movies. We are big supporters of the Boy Scouts of America. We are in Texas in Joseph's home town. Rebecca, on the other hand, was raised in California but don't hold that against her. Seth wasn't born in Texas but he got here as soon as he could. He was four months old when we moved from Utah to the Lone Star State. Mattie was born in College Station, the home of Texas A&M, so she is a die hard Aggie fan. Actually, both of our kids love A&M and we have lots of maroon things around our house to show it.
Right now Seth is about to get his First Class rank in Scouting. Rebecca is volunteering on a Wood Badge Course coming up this fall. Mattie is part of a small 4h club that has a lot of funds at the moment. So they have a good time. Joseph is busy being Scoutmaster. He puts a lot of effort into it and is rewarded by not dying. The picture above is a picture of Texas blue bonnets. They bloom here during March and April. Great big patches of them look like deep blue oceans.
